At a very tender age of eight, she started learning Hindustani Classical under the guidance of Mrs. Usha Deshpande of Khirana Gharana. She then went on to master the art of music under the guidance of immensely talented classical singer  Mrs. Aarti Anklikar-Tikekar. And not to mention she inherited the impulse of her music from her mother Mrs. Milima Shintre, only to get married in the familly of Musical Maestros. Daughter in Law of Taalyogi Pt. Suresh Talwalkar and Pandita Padma Talwalkar and wife of a young versatile, implausible tabla player Satyajit Talwalkar. She is now continuing her quest for musical knowledge under the guidance of Pandita Padma Talwalkar.

She pursued her Sangeet Vishrad from Gandharva Mahavidhyalaya and M.P.A (Master of Performing Arts) from Mumbai University where she stood first with distinction,again under the blessings of well respected Pt. Firoz Dastoorji and Pt. Narayanrao Bodas.

She is a versatile singer with a wide spectrum of talent ready to explore and experiment various aspects of music. She has sung for a Marathi play “Raja Simha” and Sanskrit play “Shivlilamrut” and accompanied a German Saxophone player, Finn Martin on his tour to India. She has accompanied Kathak Dancer Aditi Bhagwat with her vocal talent, a renowned television and film actress. And also for Smt. Sunaina Hazarilal fro Doordarshan program. Saylee was fortunate to work with Jazz maestro and keyboard player Louis Banks and has accompanied Pt. Suresh Talwalkar in his Solo concert. She sings Dadra, Hori, Thumri, Abhanga, Natyasangeet with the same passion the way she performs her solo concerts in Khayal Sangeet. Not to limit her boundaries she is now exploring western, fusion and world music.

Saylee had the honour of singing at the “Haridas Sammelan”, Mumbai, a youth festival organized by Dadar Matunga Cultural Centre and ITC SRA in Mumbai, Ranga Swar- Yashwantrao Chavan Centre, C.R.P.I.M- Ravindra Natya Mandir, Naad Bramha, South central zone cultural centre, Jalgaon and Nagpur. She also got honour to perform in “Pt. Jitendra Abhisheki Sangeet Sammelan” Kala Academy Goa.

Saylee a great devotee of lord Ganesh continues to seek blessings from all her Gurus and with her charming personality and passion for Music, continue to captivate people from across the globe.
