N. Shashikiran and P. Ganesh

Grandsons of the legendary Gottuvadyam Narayana Iyengar, Shashikiran and Ganesh are cousins who perform as a vocal duo

N. Shashikiran learnt from stalwarts like Sangita Kalanidhis T. Brinda & T. Viswanathan and Calcutta K.S. Krishnamurthy. Ganesh was trained by his maternal uncle ‘Chitravina’ Narasimhan and cousin Ravikiran. He also had the privilege of learning from Sangita Kalanidhi T. Brinda. Both were considered child prodigies and could identify numerous ragas and talas and answer numerous technical questions pertaining to Carnatic music at the tender age of two.

They set a record by giving a 24 hour performance of Carnatic music
